Super Junior’s Sungmin cast in “Jack the Ripper” musical

Earlier in the year, Super Junior’s Sungmin was featured in the subgroup Super Junior-M for their latest Chinese mini-album “Perfection”. Now the member is moving forward as he has just been recently cast in the musical “Jack the Ripper”.
The singer will play the lead role of Daniel along with actors An Jaewook and Um GiJoon, who also nabbed the same role. Sungmin is expected to begin preparations for the show that is set to premiere on July 5th. “Jack the Ripper” will also star Yoo JoonSang, Shin Sungwoo, Kim Junhyung, Seo JiYoung, and Oh JinYoung.
The curtains will rise and the musical will feature not only powerful singing and acting, but also exhibit a strong stage presence from the stars. Sungmin is also set to return with the boy band Super Junior for their next album later this year.

SM ENTERTAINMENT said on Wednesday it will hold an additional K-pop concert SM Town Live World Tour in Paris on June 11, after hundreds of French fans of K-pop rallied in Paris calling for an extra concert last week.
Their move came after tickets for a June 10 concert, to be held at Le Zenith de Paris, sold out in just 15 minutes. The protests involved a flash mob and a group dance to Korean pop music.
At the Paris concert, top idols including TVXQ, Super Junior, Girls’ Generation, SHINee and f(x) will be on stage, keeping the momentum of the Korean Wave in Europe, the agency said.

Musical ‘Jack the Ripper’ revealed its amazing cast by surprise.
The company stated on the 11th, “Yoo JoonSang, An Jaewook, Shin Sungwoo, Um GiJoon, Kim Junhyung, Sungmin (Super Junior), Seo JiYoung, Oh JinYoung etc, many skilled actors were casted for ‘Jack the Ripper’ the Musical.

SM Entertainment adds one more date to “SM Town Live in Paris” concert

The past month has been a very exciting month for fans in Europe. SM Entertainment announced in mid-April that the very first Kpop and SM Town Live concert will be performing in Europe for the first time in Paris, France on June 10th at Le Zenith de Paris. European fans were so excited that the “SM Town Live in Paris” tickets were
sold out in 15 minutes after they were released to the public. All 6,000 seats were sold out.
However, fans in Europe began to protest and wanted SM Entertainment to add another date for “SM Town Live in Paris.” Le Zenith de Paris held only approximately 6,000 seats, leaving a big amount of fans in Europe ticketless and disappointed.
The protest, held on Sunday May 1st, attracted hundreds of fans who dances and sang at the Louvre. The protest caught the attention of both local and the Korean media. As a result, SM Entertainment announced their consideration to add another concert date.
After checking their artists’s schedules, it has been officially announced that SM Entertainment has added a second tour date to “SM Town Live In Paris” for June 11th at Le Zenith de Paris!
Fans in Europe are overjoyed of the news and have said, “I’m so happy I’m jumping in joy! It’s so great! Thank you to everyone. You are incredible! Thank you,” “Bravo! It has been reported also that the June 11th tickets will most likely be postponed. Organizers are attempting to find a way for all the fans to get their tickets to the 2nd concert and limit the amount of problems fans first had in the June 10th ticket sales.
It seems that European fans efforts to gain that 2nd concert date has proved to be very successful! Since the announcement of SM Entertainment’s entry into Europe with a Kpop concert, fans all over the world began to express their hopes of a Kpop concert in their own cities, such as Mexico. International Kpop fans began to express their wishes on social network websites such as Facebook and Twitter.

“The K Showw” Tour-style Concert to be held in Korea

From July 8 to July 10, “The K Showw,” a travel tour-style concert featuring TVXQ, Big Bang, Super Junior, MBLAQ, and ZE:A, will be held at the Songdo Convensia Convention Center. The unique feature to this concert is that the tickets, which are available through a lottery system, are only available outside of Korea.
The event, which is marketed like a 3-day, 2-night travel tour, is open to 4000 guests; tickets can be purchased online through Green Tour. Upon purchasing the concert package, guests can depart from any of 11 different Japanese airports and stay at any of 6 different hotels in Seoul. The package includes arrangement of flight, hotel, and attending the concert.
